Half-life: It has a biphasic half-life. it is metabolized relatively quickly in plasma, giving it a primary half-life of 4 to 8 hours, and later it is bound to TBG and albumin, from which it is gradually released, resulting in a secondary half-life of 1 to 2 days.

Abused dosage: Most commonly 37,5 to 75  mcg divided into 2 doses, in the morning and in the afternoon
